Rival tailgate assist kit for the Toyota Hilux, 2005-2015. 4.0 mm steel and a complete fitting kit — the gate drops slower and lifts more easily.
A 2005-2015 Hilux is usually a truck that works rather than sits, and the tailgate shows it. Years of full-speed drops loosen the hinges and hammer the seal every time it shuts. The Rival assist kit brings that motion back under control.
What changes. The kit takes part of the gate's weight: it comes down slower and lifts more easily. Loading one-handed, you feel the difference immediately.
Build. Steel, 4.0 mm thick.
Installation. A complete fitting kit is supplied.
Fitment. Toyota Hilux, model years 2005-2011 and 2011-2015.
