Dedicated ORAX Systems brackets for mounting two LED lamps inside the original Land Rover Discovery II grille. 3D printed in black UV- and heat-resistant material and prepared for OSRAM Lightbar VX180-SP SR lamps. Fitting is possible without cutting the grille; lamps are not included.
The Discovery II carries extra light better than most vehicles — as long as the lamps sit inside the grille rather than hanging in front of it on a tube. The moment a bumper structure appears, it starts collecting branches on narrow tracks and becomes the thing you catch yourself on every time you walk up to the front of the car.
This ORAX Systems bracket set moves two LED lamps into the original grille. The parts were designed specifically for the Discovery II, so they follow the factory grille shape and give a tidy, integrated front end instead of a bolted-on afterthought.
The brackets are 3D printed in a black material resistant to UV and elevated temperature, chosen for the conditions right behind the air intake. The design holds the lamps securely both in everyday driving and when the vehicle is used in harder conditions.
The set is built around OSRAM Lightbar VX180-SP SR lamps. Other LED lamps with similar dimensions and a similar mounting method will also work — but with a different model, compare the size and the mounting points before buying, because that determines whether the lamp fits the space at all.
The brackets can be installed without cutting anything out of the grille, which sets them apart from many similar solutions. The manufacturer does note that for the best possible fit the rear grille joint should be cut away — without that change the lamps may protrude slightly beyond the grille face. The call is yours: leave the grille untouched and accept a small amount of protrusion, or trim one element and sit the lamps deeper.
LED lamps are not included.
For Discovery II owners who want more light without adding structures to the bumper or the roof, and who already have their lamps or are buying them separately.
