The Discovery II has a plain, upright grille — and here that is an advantage. Instead of hunting for a place to mount a bar, the extra light can hide in the grille itself, and the car stays as it was: nothing in front of the bonnet, no change in height, no branches caught on a forest track.
This kit arrives complete — two OSRAM LED lamps and dedicated brackets for the original grille, hardware included.
The lamps — OSRAM Lightbar VX180-SP SR
- 19 W per lamp, 38 W for the pair
- 1400 lm per lamp, 2800 lm in total
- beam range at 1 lx: up to 320 m
- colour temperature 6000 K
- lamp dimensions 192 × 67 × 35 mm, weight 550 g
- IP6K8 and IP6K9K sealing, service life over 5000 hours
- open wire lead, test voltage 13.2 V
- ECE R10 and ECE R149 approvals, E9 marking, reference number 25
It is a compact single-row lamp — 35 mm tall and 550 g each, figures that matter when the supporting structure is 3D printed and the lamp sits in a grille rather than on a steel bar.
The ORAX Systems brackets
The parts are 3D printed in material resistant to UV and elevated temperature, shaped to the Discovery II grille. The structure holds the lamps securely while keeping the front end tidy.
Fitting — the key difference
This kit can be fitted without cutting anything in the grille. That is the exception in this range and a strong argument if you would rather not modify the factory grille irreversibly.
The manufacturer does note that for the closest possible fit, cutting the rear joint of the grille is recommended — without it the lamps may protrude slightly. That call is yours and can wait: fit it dry first, cut later if you want to.

Who it is for
For Discovery II owners who want more light without permanently altering the grille. Szekla4x4.pl is an authorised OSRAM dealer and can carry out the installation in its own off-road workshop in Warsaw.
