LAZER Carbon-6 Drive (Gen 3) — lightweight LED bar for grille installs

An aluminium bar of this output usually weighs over a kilogram — the Carbon-6 weighs 0.45 kg. That matters wherever the lamp hangs off a plastic grille or a bonnet rather than a steel bar.

The Drive optic spreads light across 60° horizontally, lighting the verge and the entry to a corner, not just the point straight ahead.

Beam range

Who it is for

For vehicles where every kilo on the nose is a problem: rally cars, light grille installs, bonnet mounting. It also complements a long-range bar — Drive adds the width a spot optic cannot give.

The two lens covers in the box let you change the look of the front end, or switch the lamp to work-light duty, with nothing else to buy.

Fitting and notes

The lead ends in a 4-pin Deutsch DT connector with 25 cm of cable. A relay wiring kit is sold separately.

ECE R149 approval covers the low output mode only — the full 9,360 lm is an off-road mode.

Why is the Carbon-6 so light?

The manufacturer specifies a very light PC-ABS housing instead of the usual aluminium body.

What is the difference between Drive and Spot?

They are two optics of the same lamp. Drive gives a wide spread (60° horizontal), Spot a narrower long-range beam.
