Bushranger X-Jack pneumatic jack

A factory jack works as long as there is firm ground under the wheel. In sand, mud and wet grass the foot simply sinks, and a Hi-Lift needs a jacking point that many modern vehicles no longer have.

The X-Jack solves it differently: it is an air bag you slide under the vehicle and inflate from a compressor or from the exhaust. Its large footprint spreads the load, so it works where a conventional jack digs itself in.

Application

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a compressor?

Not necessarily – the X-Jack can be inflated from the exhaust. A compressor is faster and cleaner, so use one if the vehicle has it.

Won't the bag get punctured by the underbody?

The kit includes a protective mat to place between the bag and the ground or the underbody, and a repair kit in case of damage. Sharp edges, bolts and a hot exhaust should still be avoided.

Will it suit my vehicle?

If its gross vehicle mass does not exceed 4000 kg, yes. For heavier vehicles look for a different solution.

Does it replace a Hi-Lift?

They answer different problems. A Hi-Lift needs a jacking point and firm ground, but lifts higher and lets you shift the vehicle sideways. The X-Jack works where the ground is soft and there is no jacking point.
