ARB Summit steel bull bar – Suzuki Jimny (2019 on)

The Jimny has short overhangs and good geometry, right up until it meets reality: the factory plastic bumper does not survive contact with anything harder than a bush, and there is nothing under it to bolt a winch to.

The Summit Bar solves both, and along the way improves the approach angle from 35° to 37° – a real difference on a ledge in a car this small.

An important note on the finish: the bar comes in textured black powder coat and is not suitable for painting in body colour. If a colour-matched bar is what you want, this is not the product – tell us and we will look for an alternative.

Optional ARB-3500680 fog light covers are available. The bar matches the ARB Rock Sliders for the Jimny, finished in the same Integrit coating.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have it painted in body colour?

No. The manufacturer states that the textured powder coat is not suitable for body colour paint.

Do I lose the factory fog lights?

No. The bar allows them to be relocated, and optional ARB-3500680 covers are available.

Which winch fits?

The bar is set up for Warn winches up to 3500 kg. Send us the model and we will check whether an extra mount kit is needed.

How much weight does it really add?

The bar weighs about 45 kg and roughly 8 kg comes off the vehicle during fitting. The real increase is about 37 kg – on a Jimny that is significant, so the suspension is worth thinking about.

How long does fitting take?

The manufacturer quotes about 120 minutes. We do it in our own workshop, including the indicator wiring.
