The five-door Jimny has a longer wheelbase than the three-door, which means one thing: more sill hanging between the axles, and more sill landing on a rock when the car slides off line. The factory sill is not a structural member – after the first serious contact you are left with a dent that cannot be pushed out without stripping the panel.
Rock Sliders take that contact instead and carry the vehicle's weight into the chassis.

The three-door Jimny (from 2019) takes different sliders – these will not fit, because the difference is in wheelbase and sill length. If you are not sure which version you have, get in touch.
