OME OME95PF5 coil spring packer - 5 mm

A coil spring packer is the cheapest way to correct a few millimetres of ride height, and also the part that is easiest to use wrongly. Old Man Emu provides it where, after a suspension kit has been fitted, a height difference between the sides of the vehicle has to be evened out or one side lifted slightly – not as a cheap way of getting a lift, and not as a substitute for a properly chosen spring.

The Old Man Emu suspension application chart confirms part number OME95PF5 as a front axle packer for, among others:

• Toyota LandCruiser 300 (2021 onwards, diesel and petrol)
• Dodge RAM 1500 DS (2009–2021, 5.7 petrol / 3.0 diesel)
• Isuzu MU-X (2013–2020, diesel)
• Isuzu Trailblazer (2017 onwards, diesel)
• Holden Colorado 7 (2013–2016, diesel)

In some kits the chart describes it as applying to Nitrocharger Sport variants only. The importer also lists this part number for the Toyota Land Cruiser 150 – we did not find that application in the manufacturer chart, so for this model we confirm the choice with the supplier before dispatch.

Installation notes

The packer is fitted with the spring unloaded, which in practice means while the spring is being replaced. Do not fit more than one packer per spring – this is the manufacturer's instruction. After fitting, check the clearance of brake lines, sensors and guards, and check the vehicle alignment.

Will the packer lift my vehicle?

The packer corrects height by its own thickness and is meant for levelling, not for gaining lift. A suspension lift is achieved by a spring with the right rate and length.

Can two packers be stacked?

No. The manufacturer states explicitly that no more than one packer should be fitted per spring.

Is the price for one piece or a pair?
