Installation notes
The manufacturer states the operating rules explicitly, and they have to be followed:
- the maximum load on a single Base Rack crossbar is 25 kg;
- the load must be evenly distributed and secured;
- any weight carried on the roof affects how the vehicle handles, especially in corners and in a crosswind – drive with extra care;
- check the tightness of the securing clamps and of the load restraints regularly.
The vehicle manufacturer's roof load limit applies as well – of the two limits, the lower one counts.
