RockSport BLACK shocks
A 2.5" aluminium body with a 3/16" wall holds a large oil volume, which helps keep the damping consistent under sustained work. The 7/8" shaft is hardened past 60 HRC and chrome plated. Compression adjustment has eight positions — each click adds roughly 15% of compression force — on a knob large enough to turn with gloves on. The nine-port piston (six compression, three rebound) works with parabolic butterfly shims (patent pending #63/743,954) for resistance that varies with load. The remote reservoir is connected by a stainless-braided hydraulic hose.

Frequently asked questions
Do 2.5" shocks need a fitment check?
Yes. With the model-specific RAM 2500 brackets they are a direct fit, but bump stops, wheel backspacing and brake caliper clearance need checking.
What does the adjuster do?
The knob changes compression force in eight steps of roughly 15% each, so the truck can be set up differently for the road and for the trail.
