The track bar keeps the axle centred under the truck. After a lift the factory bar is effectively too short and the axle shifts sideways — the usual source of wandering steering and death wobble.

What is in the kit

Durotrak bushing
Durotrak is a patented two-piece NVH bushing made from a proprietary elastomer. The two halves thread together, so no press is needed to fit it. The bushing damps vibration reaching the steering wheel and sharpens steering response. The bar itself is solid 4130 chromoly, shaped to clear the axle at both full compression and full droop.

Is the bar alone enough after a lift?
For a small lift, yes. For a taller one the mounting angle also needs correcting with a track bar bracket.
