On a straight stretch of gravel or in open desert one thing matters: how far you can see. The Spot version of the FLEX ERA 3 uses a precisely engineered optic that pulls the light into a narrow, tightly focused beam reaching 607 m - and it does it from a housing 3.5 inches tall.

The whole thing sits in a cast aluminium alloy housing in a black finish, rated IP68. The kit holds two lights, covers, universal brackets, a wiring harness and a three position switch. The manufacturer declares no approval standard for this kit - neither the American SAE, nor European ECE, nor DOT compliance. These are auxiliary lights intended for off-road use.

Spot is the choice for fast, open sections - gravel, desert straights, night runs where you need to spot a hole or an animal with plenty of margin. If part of your route is slow and technical, pair these with a flood beam or go for the Combo version (KC 0283). The kit includes universal mounting brackets, a wiring harness with weatherproof connectors and a three position switch, so no extra control gear is needed to get the lights running. The stated 9-16 V supply range corresponds to a 12 V system. The manufacturer declares no approval standard for this kit - neither the American SAE, nor European ECE, nor DOT compliance. These are auxiliary lights intended for off-road use. KC HiLiTES covers its products under the Unlimited Lifetime Warranty programme. Per the manufacturer's terms the programme applies to purchases made after 31 August 2025, requires the product to be registered within 60 days of purchase and is fully transferable to the next owner. The manufacturer excludes, among other things, cosmetic damage, incorrect installation, neglect, normal wear and the effects of extreme events, and requires the purchase to come from an authorised sales channel. Statutory rights under Polish consumer law apply on top of the manufacturer's warranty. We can handle fitting and wiring in our off-road workshop.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Spot version differ from Combo?

Spot has a tightly focused beam reaching 607 m and throws light mainly far ahead. Combo (KC 0283) blends two flood optics with one spot - it lights up wider, but its reach is 385 m.

Are these lights road approved?

No. The manufacturer states no approval standard for this series - neither SAE, nor ECE, nor DOT compliance. These are auxiliary lights for off-road use. If you are after a light with European road approval, get in touch - we stock KC models for which the manufacturer does declare it.

Are brackets and wiring included?

Yes. You get two universal mounting brackets, a wiring harness with weatherproof connectors and a three position switch.
