KC HiLiTES Gravity LED G4 4" - Fog Lights for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2010-2018

Fog, kicked up dust and wet snow can kill even a strong driving beam - the higher and further you throw the light, the harder the white wall bounces back at you. A fog beam works the other way round: it lays the light low and wide right in front of the bonnet, so instead of glare you see the edge of the road and whatever is stepping onto it.

This is one of the few KC lights with a dual beam approval: SAE J583 and ECE R19 (Fog). The manufacturer lists both standards in the specification table, and R19 is the UN ECE regulation for front fog lamps - the beam meets European requirements, not just American ones. The kit is made strictly for the Jeep Wrangler JK, model years 2010-2018: the universal adjustable bracket is prepared for the factory location in the JK bumper. KC has separate part numbers for the JL and JT.

Who it is for

This kit is for the driver of a 2010-2018 Wrangler JK who uses the vehicle all year: morning fog over the fields, dust on gravel behind another car, wet snow hitting the screen. The fog beam fills the area where the low beam is already aimed too high and the driving beam only makes things worse. It also works at low speed off-road when you want to see the rut and the edge of the trail right in front of the bumper.

Installation and notes

The KC bracket bolts into the factory location in the bumper of the 2010-2018 Jeep JK, and the adjustment lets you fine tune the aim after the first night drive. Important: the manufacturer states the kit does not fit the Jeep Hard Rock Edition bumper, and KC has separate part numbers for the Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT - this kit does not fit them.
