Steel Side Steps with LED Lighting - Jeep Wrangler JLU 2018+
A steel side step that does two jobs at once: it gives you a solid place to stand and it lights the ground you are about to step onto. LED modules are fitted into the profile from the factory and shine downwards, onto the ground right next to the vehicle - the supplier night shots show light falling along the whole body side, not just under the doors.
The supplier publishes very little data, so we stay with what is confirmed: the structure is steel, powder coated black, and the step bolts to the vehicle frame. Workshop photos show the flat step plate, the brackets bolted to the frame, and an elongated LED module seated in the profile and held by screws. Fitment per the supplier is the four-door Jeep Wrangler JLU from 2018 and the Jeep Wrangler 4xe.

It does not say whether drilling is required, how much the pair weighs, what load the step is rated for, or any electrical data for the lighting - voltage, current draw, colour temperature, output or ingress protection. The supplier states no approval for the lighting, so we do not declare one - neither European ECE nor American SAE. This is auxiliary lighting. How auxiliary lighting may be used on public roads is set by national road traffic law, and compliance is the responsibility of the vehicle user. The distributor grants a 6 month warranty on the paint finish. It does not cover mechanical or chemical damage to the coating, damage caused by the user, or damage resulting from normal wear of the finish and from weather exposure such as UV radiation or hail. Your statutory warranty rights and right of withdrawal apply regardless. We can fit and wire the steps in our workshop.
