A set of four strips extending the fender flares by 35 mm per side, in black. The supplier lists them for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018, JL 2018-2026 and Gladiator JT 2020-2026 fitted with non-standard flares. The strips screw onto the side of the flare with the stainless screws supplied.

Flare Extensions 35 mm — Jeep Wrangler JK / JL / Gladiator JT

Once a larger tyre goes under the vehicle, the body no longer covers it. Exposed tread throws stones at your own paint and at the traffic behind, and it draws comment at a roadworthiness test. An extension lengthens the existing flare and closes that gap.

This version adds 35 mm per side. The supplier intends it for vehicles with non-standard flares — the strip fixes to the side of the flare with stainless screws.

Fitting and notes

Match each strip to its flare — front and rear differ in length. Hold it against the flare edge, then drive the screws slowly while pulling it lightly taut. The supplier recommends around 20 degrees C and 12-15 screws per flare.

The supplier states plainly that the photos are only an example of the fitment and do not show the strip width of this version. It gives no material, no strip length, and does not say whether a drill bit or instructions are included. Screw fixing means drilling into the flare — that change cannot be undone.
