OMU Antenna and Flag Mount — Jeep Wrangler JK / JL

A CB antenna, a club flag, an extra camera or a light bar — each needs a rigid point that will not shake itself loose on corrugations or tear off at the first branch. This mount is a vertical mast on aluminium brackets, bolted to the body.

The supplier lists it for the Jeep Wrangler JK and JL, under the OMU brand.

Fitting and notes

The supplier does not say which body point the mast bolts to, or whether drilling is needed. The slotted holes in the photo suggest some position adjustment, but exactly what it attaches to on a JK and on a JL has to be confirmed with the seller before you buy.

The supplier description mentions height and angle adjustment in general terms, without tying it to this specific item. Do not assume the function until you have confirmed it.

If you plan to hang a lamp or a light bar on the mast, note that the supplier gives no load rating at all.
