TopFire Steel Side Steps — Jeep Wrangler JL, 2-door

A set of steel side steps for the Jeep Wrangler JL, model years 2018-2026, in the 2-door body. The supplier states the steps bolt into the factory mounting points, with no new holes to find in the frame.

The steel carries a structural black coating — that texture takes boots and stones better than smooth paint. The photo is illustrative and comes from the four-door version — the supplier says so plainly.

Key features

• Bolts into the factory mounting points — no frame modification
• Steel with a structural coating in black
• In the illustrative photo: a tubular structure with two triangular perforated step pads carrying a moulded logo

Fitting and notes

The supplier does not say whether brackets and bolts are included, or whether fitting needs drilling. No load rating is quoted either — if the steps are meant to carry the vehicle on a rock rather than just your boot, ask the seller.

Paint coating warranty: 6 months. It excludes mechanical and chemical damage, damage caused by the user, and natural wear (UV, hail).

Frequently asked questions

Does fitting require drilling?

The supplier mentions factory mounting points but does not confirm outright that no drilling is needed.

Will the step take the weight of the vehicle?

The supplier quotes no load rating. Without it, treat the bar as a step, not a rock slider.

Does the photo show the version I am buying?

The supplier notes that the photo is illustrative and comes from the four-door model.
