Sill Protection Trims for Dacia Duster 2018-2022, set of 4

Sills take a hit every time you get in — a boot, a heel, the gritty edge of a sole. On a Duster that runs down farm tracks and forest roads, gravel thrown up by the wheels is added to that. These trims cover the exposed strip of the sill and take the damage instead.

The set is four parts: two longer ones with embossed DUSTER lettering, and two shorter ones with a raised rib along the centre. All are black, with a matt, finely grained texture and a shaped, rounded edge. The material is ABS ER400 — the supplier states it resists damage, heat and UV. The trims are bonded on.

Fitting and notes

The supplier stresses surface preparation: wash and degrease every spot a trim will sit on before bonding. That is the most common reason parts like these come away. Work above freezing and do not wash the car for the first 24 hours. The supplier gives no trim dimensions, no thickness and no indication of which piece goes at the front and which at the rear — and declares no instructions.

Is mounting tape included?

The supplier mentions bonding but does not say whether the tape is pre-applied to the trims. Confirm it with us before buying.

Do they fit a 2017 Duster?

No. This set is for model years 2018-2022. For the older Duster the supplier has a separate part number, TXSC 29.002, covering 2010-2017.

Which trim goes on the front and which on the rear door?

The supplier does not describe this. Dry-fit all four parts before bonding anything.
