Antenna Base Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU, JL/JLU and Gladiator JT — Anodised Aluminium

The factory antenna base on a Wrangler is a plastic part that fades over time, cracks around the holes and stops holding the mast rigidly. This replacement is black anodised aluminium — a material that does not yellow or go brittle in the sun.

Fitting and notes

As the photo shows, the set includes bolts in two lengths and an Allen key, so you do not have to source the small hardware separately. The supplier does not, however, give two things worth establishing: the thread size for the antenna mast, and whether the base uses the factory holes or needs drilling. Nor is it clear whether an antenna lead is included, or whether the JK and the JL are fitted the same way.
