An aluminium mount fitted to the spare wheel carrier on the tailgate of the Wrangler JK and JL. It moves the antenna from the fender to the rear of the vehicle and at the same time makes room for a flag or a shovel.

Fitting and notes

The mount uses the spare wheel carrier points. The supplier states neither the rail dimensions, the range of mast diameters the clamps accept, nor a load rating. If you plan to hang a shovel or heavier gear here, ask us before ordering — the wheel carrier has its own load limits.

No. You buy the mount alone — the antenna, flag and other gear are selected separately.

Do I have to remove the spare wheel?

The supplier does not describe the fitting procedure. The mount goes onto the wheel carrier, so in practice the wheel has to come off for the installation.

Does it fit a JL with the factory carrier?

The supplier lists JK and JL without distinguishing carrier versions. With a non-factory carrier, write to us before ordering.
