Homologation
The supplier states no E or ECE homologation for these lamps. Confirm it before registration or a technical inspection — with a dark lens and a dynamic turn signal, an inspector looks at this especially closely.
Fitting and notes
Two things have to be planned together with the fitting. First, the lamps have no integrated rear fog light — it must be relocated into or under the bumper. Second, if your Ranger has blind spot radar, the lamps carry a provision for relocating it, but the work itself is for a workshop. The supplier claims no plug and play fit and does not state whether harnesses are included.
Frequently asked questions
What about the rear fog light?
It is not in these lamps. The supplier explicitly states it must be relocated into or under the bumper.
I have blind spot radar — is that a problem?
The lamps have a provision for relocating the radar. The supplier describes neither the procedure nor whether extra brackets are needed.
Is the turn signal sequential?
The supplier describes the lamps as dynamic but does not specify which functions work dynamically. That is a question we still have open with them.
