Fitting and notes

For the panel to sit flush and hold permanently, the supplier recommends removing the factory lettering from the tailgate before sticking it on. That is a requirement, not a suggestion — on an uneven surface the tape will not grip along its whole length. Work on a clean, degreased surface, above freezing.

Does the tailgate have to be drilled?

No. Fitting is on double-sided tape. The factory lettering does have to come off the tailgate, though.

Can the panel be removed later?
