Evans Auto Cool 180 – waterless engine coolant 5 l

An Evans waterless coolant for modern production car engines. The supplier states it suits vehicles whose engines are built mainly from aluminium alloys, steel and copper. The label reads „Waterless Engine Coolant for Modern Production Cars”.

The fluid is ready to use and is not diluted with water. The system has to be dried out first — the manufacturer offers a separate Evans Prep Fluid for that.

Installation and notes

Remove as much water from the system as possible: drain the old coolant from the whole circuit including the heater and hoses, then flush it with Evans Prep Fluid (sold separately). After filling, run the engine up to operating temperature so the system bleeds, check the level and top up. The fluid is non-toxic but not fit for consumption.

Frequently asked questions

How much fluid do I need?

As much as your cooling system holds — the supplier gives no application chart.

Can I top it up with water or ordinary coolant?

The point of a waterless coolant is that there is no water in the system. The supplier does not state how much water it tolerates — ask before buying.

Will I get a safety data sheet?

The manufacturer references it as AUC180-SDS, but the supplier does not include it. We can request it.
