A roof top tent is held by a few M8 bolts - and anyone with a socket can take it off the bars in minutes. These anti-theft ball nuts turn those bolts into smooth knobs: without the dedicated folding key there is no way to undo them.

The ball nuts fit M8 tent clamp mounting bolts, that is the standard mounting of Wild Land roof top tents. If you have more room between the roof and the clamp, the alternative is anti-theft nuts with a socket key.

A roof top tent is expensive, it lives outdoors and it hangs on four clamps - the weakest point of the whole setup. A ball with no flats to grip removes the chance of a quick unbolting, and the folding key exists precisely because on a low roof a standard key simply does not fit.
Fitting notes
The ball nuts thread onto the M8 clamp bolts in place of ordinary nuts and tighten with the dedicated folding key. Keep the key in the vehicle, not in the tent. Two ball nuts secure two mounting points - if you want all four secured, take two sets.
