APEX Air Gauge ON/OFF Valve for 3/8 Braided Air Line
An APEX in-line shut-off valve fitted into the air line. One movement opens or closes the flow, with nothing to disconnect at the compressor. Designed for single, dual and quadAIR tire inflation systems. It goes into APEX 3/8 braided air line using Male 3/8 Swivel to 3/8 Hose Barb fittings. The body carries clear OPEN and CLOSED markings.

Airing up on the trail usually ends the same way: a pressurised hose, air hissing and a fiddle to disconnect it without losing the end fitting.
This valve solves that at hose level - you shut the flow off with one movement and the rest of the system stays connected.

Who it is for
For anyone running an on-board air system built on APEX hardware who wants to shut the flow off without unhooking the hose at the compressor. Most useful on dual and quadAIR setups, where disconnecting under pressure is the biggest nuisance.
Installation and notes
The valve is spliced into APEX 3/8 braided air line using Male 3/8 Swivel to 3/8 Hose Barb fittings. The manufacturer names the fitting without a quantity; in practice a continuous hose is cut and the valve goes between the two ends, so two will be needed - one per side. Fittings and hose are not included.
Frequently asked questions
Are the hose fittings included?
No. The valve is supplied on its own; to splice it into 3/8 braided line you need Male 3/8 Swivel to 3/8 Hose Barb fittings (part X02-11-007).
Does it work with the quadAIR kit?
Yes. The manufacturer lists single, dual and quadAIR tire inflation systems.
Does the valve attach to the tyre valve?
No. It is an in-line valve for the hose - the tyre end is a chuck, such as the APEX High Flow Push-On Chuck.
