The shock absorber is sold per piece — one axle needs two. The 496–311 mm figure is the extended and compressed length; it is worth comparing it with what is on your car, because one model often came with several suspension variants.

We fit these in our own workshop in Warsaw. While the car is apart we check the springs, bushings and top mounts — replacing shocks alone is rarely the whole job.
