Fitting and notes
Steps mount to the chassis or to reinforced points in the floor. It is worth protecting the contact points during fitting so water does not collect there.
Frequently asked questions
Will the step take the weight of the car on a jack?
Only versions described as rock sliders are designed for that. Entry steps are for stepping on.
Does it change the approach angles?
Steps do not affect approach and departure angles, but they can limit the breakover angle over very tall obstacles.
