Fitting and notes
Skid plates bolt to factory points or to dedicated brackets from the kit. After fitting, check that they do not block access to the oil drain plug.

Aluminium or steel?
Aluminium is lighter and does not rust, steel is cheaper and takes point impacts better. On a long trip every kilogram over the front axle counts.
Will a skid plate overheat the engine?
Skid plates have ventilation cut-outs where the manufacturer allowed for them.
