A snorkel moves the air intake from the engine bay up to roof level. You get two things: no risk of drawing water in when crossing a ford, and cleaner air on a dusty track, because there is simply less dust at pillar height.
Made of LLDPE — a plastic that deforms instead of cracking when a branch hits it. Supplied ready to fit. Engine version: 2.8L, 4.2L.

Fitting requires cutting a hole in the fender. That step cannot be undone — if you are not confident, have it done in our workshop in Warsaw.
After fitting, check the whole intake for leaks — a snorkel only makes sense if there are no leaks downstream of it.
Does this mean I can drive through any water?
No. A snorkel protects the intake, but the axles, gearbox, alternator and electrics are still in the water. Wading depth is set by the vehicle manufacturer, not by the snorkel.
Why the left side?
A snorkel is designed around the intake and fender layout of one specific model. The version for the other side cannot be swapped over.
Does it affect roadworthiness?
It is an external, permanently mounted part — at a technical inspection it is assessed case by case.
