The kit allows replacing the electric motor engaging the rear axle lock with a pneumatic actuator controlled by a pneumatic valve or solenoid valve, a simple and reliable solution. To power the actuator, an ARB lock compressor or suspension compressor that pumps at least 5atm is needed. The installation involves unscrewing the electric motor, replacing the lock shift pin, and screwing the actuator, routing the power cables (6mm) can be done without dismantling the axle, available with a manual (pneumatic) valve or solenoid valve enabling control with an electric switch (e.g. factory lock switch). It may require transferring the reaction rod to the axle head.
