The provided temperature maintenance parameters refer to a full vessel, unopened for a specified time. Opening the vessel and partially emptying it will result in a faster loss of the initial temperature. To extend the temperature maintenance time, it is recommended to first fill the vessel with hot water and leave it tightly closed for five minutes, then empty it and fill it with the intended beverage or dish and tightly close it. If a cold product is to be stored, cold water should be used.
