The Sprinter W907/W910 has a tall, upright front, and its factory lighting is calculated for the road — not for a yard, a forest approach or a campsite at midnight. A roof bar is usually the wrong answer here: a van is tall enough already, and every centimetre comes back to you at a barrier or in a car park.
This kit goes the other way — two powerful LED lamps go into the original radiator grille. The vehicle keeps its outline while the front end gains a distinctly purposeful look.
The lamps — OSRAM Lightbar MX250-CB
- 45 W per lamp, 90 W for the pair
- 2700 lm per lamp, 5400 lm in total
- beam range at 1 lx: up to 320 m, colour temperature 6000 K
- Combo beam; function: auxiliary driving light and position light
- lamp dimensions 390 × 86 × 54 mm, weight 2000 g
- 12 V / 24 V supply, test voltage 13.5 V, open wire lead
- IP69K sealing, service life 5000 hours
- ECE R10, R112 and R7 approvals, E4 marking, reference number 30
The R112 and R7 approvals are a genuine step up from lamps listed as R10 only: they cover the lighting function itself, not merely electromagnetic compatibility.
The ORAX Systems brackets
The brackets are 3D printed in black material resistant to UV and elevated temperature, shaped to the Sprinter W907/W910 grille.
Fitting — read this before you order
Fitting requires cutting away a small part of the original grille and drilling mounting holes. Test-fit the brackets together with the lamps and mark both the cuts and the hole positions before starting.
The manufacturer also offers another route: a complete grille with the lamps already fitted can be ordered. If you would rather not touch your own grille, that is worth considering — get in touch and we will check availability.
