A 3 × 3.5 m lightweight awning attached directly to the Roof Space 4. Shade and rain cover next to the car, with telescopic poles for several pitching options. Weighs 3.5 kg.

Light Awning for Roof Space 4

The tent sits on the roof, but camp life happens beside the car — and that is exactly where there is no shade and no cover from the rain. The Light Awning stretches 3 × 3.5 m of fabric over that spot, attached straight to the tent, with no separate frame.

Two telescopic poles let you pitch it flat, angled or as a teepee, so the same piece of fabric is a roof over the table one day and a windbreak the next. The whole thing weighs 3.5 kg and packs into a slim bag.

Who it is for

For people who travel where there are no trees: the beach, high mountains, desert plateaus or a lakeside car park in July. The awning provides the shade those places simply do not have.

It also works as quick cover for cooking in the rain — a few minutes to pitch, without putting up a full annex.
