A light you need for one evening, and next week on a different vehicle? This mount sits on the bonnet, roof or side without a single hole. Two 88 mm magnets, 40 kg of pull each, in a rubber coating that does not scratch paint. The twin foot stops the light from tilting. The manufacturer states the mount is not approved for road use.
There are situations where you do not want to drill: a leased pickup, fresh paint, a camper roof, or a light that works one evening and goes back in the box. A magnetic foot solves that in seconds - except a single magnet tilts easily, and tilt is what tears it off the panel.
That is why the Purelux Pro Magnet Horizontal has two magnets on one foot. Each is 88 mm across with 40 kg of pull, and the pair in line stops the light from tilting. The magnets are rubber coated, which protects the paint and adds friction.

The mount is not approved for road use. The manufacturer says so plainly: despite the strong twin magnet, with enough airflow and vibration the light can swing and, in the worst case, come off. This is a mount for working at a standstill - on a yard, in the woods or next to a machine - not for driving with a light on the roof.
Second point: the 40 kg figure applies to a flat surface. On a curved roof the contact area drops and the hold is noticeably weaker. Wipe sand and grit off the panel before you set the foot down.
Round work lights and any light with its own foot - the fixing hole is 10 mm. A longer LED bar can be supported by placing one mount near its middle. The mount is sold individually and one piece is a complete foot with two magnets.
Can I drive with the light on the magnet?
The manufacturer does not allow it. With enough airflow and vibration the light can swing and, in the worst case, come off - which is why the mount is not intended for road use. It is a solution for working at a standstill and for moving a light between vehicles.
How many mounts do I need for one light?
The mount is sold individually and one piece is a complete foot with two magnets. A round work light needs one; a longer bar needs at least two.
How strong is the magnet in practice?
The manufacturer states 40 kg per magnet in vertical pull. That figure applies to a flat surface - on a curved roof the contact area drops and the hold is weaker.
Will the magnet scratch the paint?
The magnets are rubber coated to protect the paint. Just make sure no sand or grit is trapped under the foot.
Will it fit my light?
The fixing hole is 10 mm, so it suits lights with their own foot and typical round work lights. For an unusual mounting, check the bolt diameter on your light.
