When to replace a knuckle?
The knuckle connects the A-arms, the tie-rod end and the wheel hub. Replace it after hitting a rock or a stump, when it is cracked or bent, or when the bearing or ball-joint seat is worn – symptoms are wheel play, pulling and uneven tyre wear. Check ball joints, wheel bearings and tie-rod ends at the same time.
