The VM80010022 fitting kit for Old Man Emu BP-51 shocks on the front axle of the Nissan Patrol. BP-51 shocks use different mounts from the factory ones, so the kit is required for this installation rather than optional – and it is not part of the shock itself. The front and rear axles take separate kits.
BP-51 shocks are thicker, heavier and carry a remote reservoir – they do not go into the Patrol’s factory mounts. This kit is what you need for the shock to go on at all: order the shocks without it and the job stops with the vehicle apart.
Number VM80010022 | Axle front | For OME BP-51 shocks |
The kit is intended for the front axle of the Nissan Patrol, with OME BP-51 shocks.
The OME selection guide lists this number as a BP-51 Fit Kit for the Patrol GU Y61 LWB and SWB (from 1997) and GQ Y60 LWB (1988–1997), at lifts around 40–50 mm and all payloads.
A note on generation names: GQ is Y60 and GU is Y61. The importer listing mixes the two at this item – confirm the generation by VIN.

No. The front and rear axles take separate kits with different numbers.
