A 3 × 3 m inflatable annex for the Roof Space 2 and Roof Space 4, pumped up in minutes. Walls come off one by one, groundsheet and pump are included and it stands on its own. M or L connector chosen to match your vehicle height.
A poled annex is always the same ritual: find the right pole, thread it through the sleeve, swear at the last segment. The Family Base has no poles — it has air chambers and a stand pump in the set, so 3 × 3 m of structure goes up in minutes.
Add 3 × 2 m of extra cover under the tensioned connector, four walls that come off one by one and a groundsheet in the box. It is freestanding, so you can leave camp standing and take the car out for the day.

Area 3 × 3 m + 3 × 2 m | Weight 16.5 kg | Structure air chambers, pump included |

For a family that stays in one place for more than a night, and for anyone who needs living space rather than just a bedroom. At 3 × 3 m it takes a table, the gear and a dry corner for the kids on a wet day.
The second group is people who work from a base camp: pitch it, leave it standing and drive off. The Family Base does not need the tent to stand up.
Inflate it with the supplied pump, attach it to the tent through the connector and tension it with fifteen pegs. The connector is chosen by vehicle height: M up to 1.90 m, L above that.
Before you order: Roof Space 2 tents with serial numbers RS230001 to RS240112 need the version with an adapter. The number is inside the tent case, behind the side cover next to the gas struts — send it together with your vehicle height and we will put the right version together.
Send us your tent model and the height of the car with the tent fitted — we will match the M or L connector and complete the order.
Which connector do I need, M or L?
Measure the height of the car with the tent fitted. Up to 1.90 m, the M connector; above 1.90 m, the L connector (up to 2.20 m).
Does it fit both the Roof Space 2 and the Roof Space 4?
Yes. The manufacturer builds versions for both — the annex is the same, the connector width differs. Tell us which tent you have.
Do I have to pack it up to use the car?
No. The Family Base stands on its own, without leaning on the tent.
What exactly is in the box?
The annex, an M or L connector, a groundsheet, a stand pump, a carry bag, a manual and 15 pegs.
Can the walls be opened in hot weather?
Yes, all four walls come off individually — from a closed room to a plain canopy.
