MetalCloak Jeep JL Wrangler 2.5” Game-Changer Suspension System (No Shock Edition) – compatibility: Jeep JL Wrangler

No Shock Edition – product image

Key benefits

• Choose your own shocks – the kit is offered without shocks, so you can match damping to your needs and budget.
• More travel, controlled geometry – components are designed for maximum UP and DOWN travel with stable suspension geometry.
• Duroflex joints with Kevlar reinforcement – self-centering elastomer joint for durability, misalignment and vibration dampening.
• True Dual Rate coils – designed to keep ride quality stable and improve load handling compared to typical single-rate or “progressive” coils.
• Durotrak track bars – NVH-focused bushing design for smoother feel while keeping the axle centered.
• Height-adjustable bump stops – adjust from 1” to 4” without removing coils (front and rear systems shown on the product page).

Who it’s for / use cases

• Jeep JL Wrangler owners who want a complete 2.5” suspension foundation with adjustable arms, centered axle control and long-travel focus.
• Builds where shocks are selected separately (daily driver + weekend trails, overland weight, rock crawling priorities, etc.).
• Drivers who want reduced NVH and stable steering feel from track bar bushing design while retaining articulation off-road.

Installation / notes (from the product page)

• Installation difficulty: Moderate.
• Body modification: None.
• Estimated time: 6–8 hours.
• Driveshaft note: due to the long travel provided, factory driveshafts can contact OEM components and wear quickly at extreme articulation; an aftermarket driveshaft is indicated on the product page.
• Alignment note: the product page recommends a suspension specialist alignment after installation.
• Coil note: the product page states MetalCloak does not recommend powder coating True Dual Rate coils.
• Diesel note: the product page states stock wheel backspacing will not work with the Diesel JL Wrangler.
• System policy notes on the product page: offered as a complete system; components are not customizable/removable from the kit, and partial returns are not accepted.
• Outboard shock mount note: the product page states OE wheels require 2” spacers for proper clearance; mounts are intended for wheels with 4.5” backspacing or less (or equivalent spacer).
