HABA - Dutch supplier of electrics and equipment for campers, caravans and boats.

HABA - camper electrics and equipment from the Netherlands

HABA is a Dutch family business that started in the 1970s selling and servicing caravans. A second caravan company was added in 1976, and in 1985 Recreation Wholesaler HABA B.V. was founded. Since 2015 the company has been run by Tim Batist, son of the founder. Today a team of 22 supplies camping shops and wholesalers in 36 countries.

What HABA does

The brand specialises in two things: camping comfort and electrical equipment for recreational vehicles. The catalogue covers CEE cables and extension leads, 12 V and 230 V plugs and sockets, fuse boxes, inverters and chargers, batteries and solar panels, lighting, pumps and water systems, plus awning, tent and chassis accessories.

The C-Line system

C-Line is HABA's own built-in switching range for campers, caravans and boats: 230 V and 12 V sockets, switches, USB chargers, aerial and speaker outlets in one consistent design, with interchangeable frames in several colours. C-Line parts also work with Presto and Inprojal gear, so extending an existing installation does not mean replacing everything.

Why it is worth it

• Half a century in the caravan trade - not a random electrical supplier.
• A range designed for recreational vehicles rather than for buildings - different panel dimensions, different demands on vibration and moisture.
• A consistent C-Line system that is easy to extend with further 12 V and 230 V outlets.
