The INEOS Grenadier is a purpose-built off-road vehicle featuring a ladder-frame chassis, solid axles and coil-spring suspension. Its construction is well suited to overland travel and off-road driving, while carefully selected modifications allow the vehicle’s capabilities to be developed even further.

Game-Changer Suspension for the INEOS Grenadier

The MetalCloak 2.5-inch Game-Changer suspension system is designed to increase ground clearance, improve axle movement and provide additional space for larger tyres. The system includes components engineered to work together and help maintain correct suspension geometry after lifting the vehicle.

Complete kits with RockSport BLACK shock absorbers are available, as well as individual components that allow the suspension to be upgraded in stages. This makes it possible to configure the vehicle for overland travel with additional equipment or for more demanding off-road use.

True Dual Rate Springs

MetalCloak True Dual Rate springs have been developed specifically for the INEOS Grenadier. Their dual-rate design is intended to provide stable on-road handling, suitable load-carrying performance and extended suspension travel off road.

Their long free length helps keep the springs correctly seated during full axle droop. The design also accounts for spring bow throughout the suspension’s movement. For optimum performance, True Dual Rate springs should be combined with correctly selected Duroflex control arms and shock absorbers.

Duroflex Control Arms

MetalCloak adjustable Duroflex control arms allow the axle position and suspension geometry to be corrected after lifting the vehicle. Their heavy-duty steel construction is designed to withstand the additional loads generated during off-road driving.

Duroflex joints provide a wide range of movement, allowing the axles to articulate more freely. At the same time, their flexible design helps absorb vibration and reduce noise compared with conventional spherical joints. Adjustable length allows the control arms to be correctly configured for both standard-height and lifted vehicles.

Durotrak Track Bars and Anti-Roll Bar Disconnects

Adjustable Durotrak track bars help centre the axles correctly after changing the vehicle’s ride height. Correct axle positioning is essential for maintaining proper geometry, predictable handling and balanced suspension operation.

Front anti-roll bar quick disconnects allow greater independent wheel movement when driving off road. Once reconnected, the anti-roll bar provides the stability required for driving on paved roads.

RockSport BLACK Shock Absorbers

MetalCloak RockSport BLACK shock absorbers are matched to the increased suspension travel provided by the Grenadier lift system. They help control the movement of the vehicle’s heavy body and solid axles on uneven terrain and during everyday driving.

A complete suspension system in which the springs, shock absorbers, control arms and geometry-correction components have been designed to work together provides a more predictable result than combining unrelated components from different manufacturers.

UnderCloak Underbody Armour System

MetalCloak UnderCloak is an integrated steel armour system designed to protect the INEOS Grenadier’s most important underbody components. The system covers the engine and oil pan, transmission, transfer case and fuel tank.

The engine and oil-pan skid plate is manufactured from 1/4-inch steel, while the main transmission, transfer-case and fuel-tank skid plates are made from 3/16-inch steel. Upturned edges help the vehicle slide over obstacles, while protected mounting hardware reduces the risk of bolt damage.

The components feature a gold zinc finish that helps protect the steel against corrosion, even after the surface has been scratched during off-road use.

Differential Skid Plates

The front and rear differentials are among the lowest components of the drivetrain and are therefore particularly vulnerable to impacts from rocks and other trail obstacles.

MetalCloak offers separate steel differential skid plates that protect the lower section of the housing, drain plug, cover hardware and pinion area. The skid plates attach to existing mounting points without requiring the differential oil to be drained.

Rocker Rails with Integrated Steps

MetalCloak Rocker Rails protect the sills and lower body when driving over obstacles. Their heavy-duty structure is manufactured from 3/16-inch hot-rolled steel and mounts directly to the vehicle’s frame.

An integrated platform functions as a practical step, making it easier to enter the vehicle and access roof-mounted equipment. Its dimpled surface improves grip, while dedicated cut-outs retain access to the factory jacking points. Installation does not require drilling, cutting or welding.
