The Jeep Cherokee XJ, manufactured from 1984 to 2001, remains one of the most popular platforms for off-road and overland builds. Its solid axles, compact body and straightforward construction provide excellent modification potential. MetalCloak Duroflex Control Arms

MetalCloak control arms are designed to improve suspension geometry and allow the axle to move more freely throughout its travel. The range includes fixed-length and adjustable upper and lower control arms, including double-adjustable aluminium versions. Adjustable arms allow accurate axle positioning and caster correction after the suspension has been lifted.

The Durotrak front track bar helps maintain correct lateral axle positioning and improves steering stability. Its adjustable design makes it possible to centre the front axle after lifting the vehicle.

Manufactured from solid chromoly steel, the Durotrak track bar is intended for demanding off-road use and lifted suspension systems. Correct track bar adjustment is essential for predictable steering and proper suspension geometry.

True Dual Rate Front Springs

MetalCloak True Dual Rate front coil springs are available for Jeep Cherokee XJ suspension lifts of approximately 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 inches. Their dual-rate design supports extended suspension travel while maintaining controlled handling during everyday driving.

The Cherokee XJ uses coil springs at the front and leaf springs at the rear. The MetalCloak springs offered in this category are therefore intended for the front axle and should be combined with suitable rear suspension components.
